1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work the same way. This policy explains which of them we use and when.

Necessary

Needed for the service to work and set without consent (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG): the sign-in session of restaurant owners and their team, security tokens, your language choice, and the record of your cookie choice below (stored in your browser's local storage).

plattr_flipper_draft (Flipper, strictly necessary, 180 days, renewed each time you open your draft): only a signed reference to the menu draft you made in Flipper without an account — not its content and not its private link — so that after you sign in on plattr.me we can offer to add it to your restaurant.

Google Analytics — only with your consent

On the marketing pages of plattr.me (the home page, the blog and the FAQ) we would like to use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website. It is loaded only after you click “Accept” in the cookie banner; until then, and if you decline, no request is made to Google.

• Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
• Cookies: _ga and _ga_<ID>, stored for up to 2 years.
• Data: a pseudonymous identifier, the pages you view, the time of the visit, device and browser information. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, which is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
• Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG.
• You can withdraw your consent at any time below; the Google Analytics cookies are then deleted.

Google Analytics is never used on restaurant pages (menus on plattr.menu, table ordering, booking, loyalty cards, restaurant websites), on the sign-in pages or in the restaurant administration.

Fonts

All fonts are served from our own servers. Your browser does not connect to Google Fonts or any other font service.

What we do not use

We do not use marketing or advertising cookies, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not share your data with advertisers.
