Plattr Insights Hub — The Complete Guide for Restaurant Owners
Insights Hub gives you Menu Intelligence, Customer Insights, Growth Actions, and Reputation Monitoring in one dashboard. Here is everything it does and how to use it.

Running a restaurant means making dozens of decisions every day. What should be on the menu? Which dishes need a price change? Are guests coming back? What do the reviews say? Which marketing campaigns actually work?
Most restaurant owners make these decisions based on instinct. Insights Hub replaces instinct with data. It is a single dashboard inside Plattr that collects everything happening in your restaurant — orders, bookings, loyalty, reviews — and turns it into clear, actionable intelligence.
This guide covers every tab, every metric, and how to use each one to increase revenue.
Pulse — Your Restaurant's Vital Signs
Pulse is the first tab you see. It shows the key metrics that tell you whether your restaurant is healthy:
- Revenue trend: daily, weekly, monthly. Are you growing or declining?
- Average check size: compared to last week and last month.
- Cover count: how many guests you are serving and the trend.
- Booking fill rate: what percentage of available slots are booked.
- Loyalty member growth: new enrollments vs churned members.
Think of Pulse as your morning check. Open it with your coffee, see if anything needs attention, and move on. If average check dropped, check Menu Intelligence. If bookings are down, check your booking settings. Pulse tells you where to look.
Menu Intelligence — Your Menu's Report Card
This is where Insights Hub gets powerful. Menu Intelligence analyzes every dish on your menu across four dimensions:
The Star-Dog Matrix
Every dish is classified as a Star (popular + profitable), Puzzle (profitable but underordered), Workhorse (popular but low margin), or Dog (neither popular nor profitable). The matrix updates in real time as orders come in.
Dish Conversion Funnel
On your digital menu, you can see: views to detail opens to add to cart to ordered. If a dish has 200 views and 5 orders, something is wrong with the price, photo, or description. Menu Intelligence flags these gaps.
Basket Analysis
Which items are ordered together? This data powers cross-selling recommendations. "72% of guests who order espresso also order a pastry." "Steak + red wine appear together in 65% of orders."
Price Sensitivity Analysis
How do price changes affect order volume? If you raised the price of your burger by 1 euro and orders dropped 20%, the price sensitivity score is high. If orders stayed flat, you left money on the table. Menu psychology meets real data.
Customer Insights — Who Are Your Guests?
Customer Insights turns your guest database into actionable segments:
- New vs returning: what percentage of this month's guests are first-timers vs regulars?
- Visit frequency: how often do loyalty members come back? Weekly, monthly, quarterly?
- Spend tiers: who are your high-value guests? Who are the occasional visitors?
- Lapsed members: who has not visited in 30+ days? These are win-back campaign candidates.
- Lifetime value: which guests have generated the most revenue over their relationship with your restaurant?
This data directly feeds the marketing automation engine. Segment by behavior, not demographics. A guest who visits weekly and spends 40 euros gets different treatment than one who came once three months ago.
Reputation and Reviews — What Guests Say About You
Online reputation directly affects new guest acquisition. The Reputation tab monitors:
- Google review score and trend
- Recent review alerts (positive and negative)
- Response rate and average response time
- Sentiment analysis of review text
- Comparison with nearby competitors
When a negative review comes in, you get an alert. When your score drops below a threshold, you get a warning. The tab also helps you improve your Google review strategy with specific recommendations.
Growth Actions — Your To-Do List, Sorted by Revenue
Growth Actions is the action layer on top of all the intelligence above. It takes findings from Menu Intelligence, Customer Insights, and Reputation, and converts them into specific tasks with estimated revenue impact.
Instead of staring at dashboards wondering what to do, you get a prioritized list: "Do this first, it is worth 100 euros per month. Then do this, it is worth 75 euros per month." Each action links directly to the feature or setting where you can implement it.
This is what makes Insights Hub different from a generic analytics dashboard. It does not just show data — it tells you what the data means and what to do about it.
Loyalty Tab — Program Performance
If you run a loyalty program, the Loyalty tab shows:
- Total enrolled members and growth rate
- Active vs dormant members
- Wallet adoption rate (Apple + Google Wallet)
- Stamps and points issued and redeemed
- Revenue attributed to loyalty (guests who scanned before ordering)
- Campaign performance (open rates, conversion, ROI)
The most important metric here is loyalty-attributed revenue: how much of your total revenue comes from identified loyalty members vs anonymous guests. This number should grow over time as more guests enroll and engage.
Which Plan Gets What
Insights Hub is available from the Plus plan (139 euros per month) for Pulse and Menu Intelligence. The Pro plan (249 euros per month) unlocks the full suite: Customer Insights, Reputation Monitoring, Growth Actions, and the marketing automation engine.
On the Free plan, you can still see Growth Actions summaries — the system shows you the opportunities even before you pay. "8 actionable growth opportunities found. Estimated total impact: 260+ euros per month if all executed." This is intentional: we want every restaurant to understand the value of their data, whether they are paying or not.
