What is Plattr?

Is Plattr free?
There is a Free plan with no time limit: a listing in the Plattr Guide, a digital table menu with QR codes, allergen and calorie tags and basic analytics. Mini and Standard add more features; you move up only when you need them.
How do I get my menu online?
With Flipper: send a link to your menu, a PDF or a photo, and in minutes you get an online menu with prices, allergens and a picture for every dish. Flipper is free and needs no account; save the menu to a free Plattr account when you like it.
Are the dish pictures real photos?
Flipper’s pictures are AI illustrations, so every dish has one from the start. You can replace any of them with your own photo at any time.
Do guests need an app?
No. The menu, the Swipe menu, ordering and booking open in the phone’s browser, and loyalty cards live in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
What is the Plattr Guide?
The Plattr Guide at plattr.de is where guests look for restaurants by city, search and filters. Every Plattr restaurant gets a page there with its menu and photos, on every plan.
Do I need a credit card or a contract?
No credit card for the Free plan and no contracts: you can switch or cancel a paid plan in any month. Paid plans come with a 14-day money-back guarantee.
Which languages does Plattr speak?
The dashboard and plattr.me are available in 20 languages, from English and German to Turkish, Ukrainian, Japanese and Chinese. From the Mini plan, AI translation puts your menu into the languages of your guests.
I run several restaurants. How does that work?
Each location has its own plan, billed monthly, so you can mix them: one location on Free, another on Standard. For several locations, write to support@plattr.me.
How does Plattr handle personal data?
Plattr works under the GDPR: the privacy policy, the data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) and the joint controller agreement (Art. 26 GDPR) are public. Google Analytics on plattr.me runs only with consent, and marketing messages go only to guests who agreed to them.
